Our 4 yo cat has a bladder infection which is being treated with antibiotics. We figured this out because he was using our clothes, blankets, and especially any plastic lying around as a nice place to urinate. OMG I've done so much laundry lately. Here's my question - will he stop going outside the litter box as soon as his infection is cleared up or has he learned a behavior that has to be unlearned? I've had animals my whole life and never had one with a bladder infection so this is all new to me.
