And will it go away??
This is the first bloom on IG x PL by Liz. The split between the tenderals is what Im talking about.
What causes this
Caren, what a pretty color! I do not know if they have an official name. The Preissel book just calls them heart shaped indentations. I have them on a few brugs including Arborea and they stay present.
Maybe someone else has a name.

Wow ! That is pretty ;0)
I had that on a first flower of a new seedling this year. The partial separation of the petals like that became much much less marked in subsequent flowers. But equally it may just stay like that as Kell says. I think it looks good!
it might be to cold there for it mmm you may need to send it to florida lol
My Oange Sunshine did that the first it bloomed but on the first big flush it did not do it any more.
Thanks Joan! That is what I’m hoping for. It has more blooms coming but when I brought her inside she dropped most of them. Maybe in spring she will fix herself I dought I will see any more blooms this winter.
I was wondering why I couldnt find anything on her. Do you have any pics?
Its starting to get some color but I can't tell what yet. For a guess I would say brown lol!
Thank you Liz!
