Finally a bloom from a Raley's $1 special

I can't resist the special basket of Bromelliads at Raley's. After losing several to my ignorance I learned enough to keep this one going. I have no idea who it is. It is 10 inches from base to tip. Any ideas? Thanks from a total Bromelliad novice, Bill

I'm pretty sure that's a Tillandsia- an "air plant" :)

Thanks for the link. I still have not got the species down--Maybe it is a hybrid of some kind. Looks like butzii except they are speckled. I'll keep looking!
