new windows

Crozet, VA

You guys asked to see my pictures of the windows that I had installed recently. I finally sat down for a bit this morning and figured out how to post pics once again. I tend to forget things on the computer that I don't use every day. This is garden window in kitchen.

p.s. I think that I will also add a few pics of family and puppy dogs who reside here.

Nope, that was two of Blue. Will see if I have one of Dagmar. Nope couldn't find one of Daggie. These are my sons, Ben and Tucker and older son's fiance Nicole. Christmas afternoon 2006.

Sorry if I am boring you.

Have a good one, I am off to grocery store.

I'm so glad you finally got your windows in, Ruby. They're both very nice. That bay window is a terrific spot for your houseplants.

Hi Hart - Yes, the bay window is really nice for getting sun on the plants. If I had to do it again though, I would have the contractor make the ledge a bit larger. I still have houseplants ALL over the house. When my son leaves home we plan to knock out the wall in his bed room which adjoins the dining room and I will definitely work some sort of good window in there also.

Doesn't show in the pic, but my niece from New Jersey sent me the most gorgeous asian windchime. It is literally the prettiest one that I have ever seen. I will take a pic when I get back home and post it here. I have already packed my camera for the trip.

I hope to be able to visit with this niece next week sometime. She lives less than an hour from Atlantic City. A few summers ago we were at her place on the 4th of July and went to Atlantic City to watch the fireworks. That was a good show.

Hart, I hope that you are doing okay and that the holidays are not too stressful for you. There are so many people who tend to get depressed during this time of year. So far this winter my mood is stable and on the "up" side for me. Come to think of it, it was that way last year too. I think that this is about the time of year that I began reading the gardening boards and became excited about having my own garden. So, as Eddie Murphy on Saturday Night Live would say - "gardening hab been bery bery good to me."

Take care hon.

Ruby
