that have been in and out of my life for hmmm.. a "few" years now (ok, it hurts to say that I'm 41). All the people on this forum are among the best people I've ever "met." Without you, I would not have the 10,000 rooted brug cuttings (ok, only 30, but I'm getting in trouble because they are all becoming BIG in my one room for all of my plants) that I have now, or the vast amount of knowledge I keep having to refer to all the time, and for this, I am extremely grateful.
The integrity, kindness and humorous qualities of everyone here is over the top. So, having said that, I just want to wish everyone a very happy Holiday, and may all of your dreams come true (as mine have this wonderful holiday season). You are the best, and I am so grateful for having found this site.
Rest well, and may your "higher being" fulfill you with nothing but happiness.
There have been many people....
What a beautiful picture, Felicia and what a lovely holiday greeting. I hope your holidays are filled with everything special too and the new year brings beautiful blooms to you and to all of us.
Felicia, that is one heck of a mouthful, I wish I could think of such sincere words to express my appreciation for all of the wonderful, knowledged, kind, generous, helpful--and the list could go on and on, and that includes you also, I have some of your cuttings in my GH. Thank you for saying things that I can only think. John
PS. I have never seen that much pink in one picture.
Thank you so much Felicia! I also enjoy the many friendships born here. The advice, sharing, and encouragement are the best I've ever known. Before DG I thought brugs just came in white, pink and yellow.....lol. Now, I drool over the doubles, triples, tendrils, bushes, standards, etc etc etc. I'm even going to start growing seeds, lol. 2007 holds so much hope for all of us brug addicts :)
May God bless and keep us all safe, healthy and happy, Margo
The people here at Daves are the greatest in the world. They have all done so much for me

What a heartfelt greeting! I am fairly new to DG and I so agree with all you said. I have found so many kind, knowledgeable and caring "Plant People" here! I am having a ball and learning so much! I only have one brug in the ground that I bought through a mail order catalog a couple of years ago. It just bloomed for the first time, only 2 flowers and no fragrance but it was still beautiful! I got 2 small brugs in my first trade here on DG and plan on putting them in the ground in spring! I had no idea they came in any other color than white, or peach and just saw on another thread some beautiful red and pink ones. The photo you posted is Gorgeous! Pink is my color and that is really beautiful. Do you have it inside or in the ground? What do you feed it? It is so huge! And SO MANY blooms! Great Growin!
Blessings to you, and to everyone here at DG for the remainder of this Holiday Season and for the New Year to come!
Lin
p.s.
You say it hurts to say that you are 41???!!! Hey! Want to trade .... my 59th is coming up in a couple of months! LOL. I've gotten to the place in life where I do believe age is just a number .... nothin we can do about it, so might as well enjoy where we're at!
Lin,
Ok, I am thoroughly enjoying where I have been in the last few days and the days ahead of me. So, 41 is awesome!
On that note, I rescued Isabella from a local nursery -- no one wanted her. Everyone was intimidated by her. It turns out, I never had to pay a dime for her. She's now inside being overwintered, but se's getting big again, even after cutting her to bits about 2 months ago. And, she was huge before I moved her inside. She took up 1/2 the space between two houses, and was about 6 feet tall. All I did was feed her twice a week with 20-20-20 (they seem to prefer being foliar fed).
I've only known about brugs for 6 months now, but I'm certainly hooked!!
Felicia
You said it so well Felicia. With all the hurtful and sad things that can go on around us, or in our lives, I thank God I have this place to run to. Even just to come and take a quick glance at the pics, it's a sanctuary for me. Brugs brought joy to my life and it was DG that did it. I too am very thankful to everyone here for all they have given me, even though some don't even know it. Thank you Felicia for this beautiful thread.
Bless us all this New Year.
