Saturday I had my husband go to the Vet's to pick up Corkie's Hill's CD diet Prescription. He called form the Vet's and told me they no longer were going to carry Hill's and had switched to Purina brand diets.
They sent what is supposed to be an equivalent diet DCO. From what I have read it is for diabetes and colitis. Corkie has problems with bladder crystals. Purina has a 800 number to call but is only open regular business hours Mon thru Fri. Now I am worried this is the wrong diet for her. My husband said the receptionists had an equivalency chart they went by. I don't know if it was read right or what, but how can a diabetic diet help with crystals?
Does anyone else have Purina prescription for Crystals and can tell me what the name of thier's is?
Hill's diet looked and smelled better than Purina also. I don't like the little crumbs that seem to be in the food and have started adding water to make it less gritty.
