I have hoya envy!! Nice, dmichael!
Really nice, David!!!
this is my giant white calla lily that a friend shared with me. We thought it was hercules but turns out its not. I believe the name to just be giant white but not sure. Anyway the bloom stalks are about 3ft or more in height and the flowers stay open for me for almost 2 weeks.
The deep pink brugmansia bloom that you see in the lower right hand side of the pic is called mountain treasure.

Very nice David, your H. cv. Mathilde is great, has it bloomed for you yet? Mine is a single cutting, and wants to grow up to look like yours. I have H. aldrichii comming in a couple of days and can't wait for that one to bloom. Thanks for sharing your photo's.
Tami,
mathilde has blomed for me but not since early spring even though it stays covered with peduncles. It's even making some new ones right now. I have moved it from where I originally had it growing so maybe that'll encourage it to bloom better.
I got H. aldrichii from D.L. a little over a year ago and it has grown really well for me. In fact it is still actively growing. No flowers as of yet but i'm hoping all of that will change come spring.
I've got a small start of cv. Chouke that I bought a few months back and it is actively growing also,I just hope it grows like it's sister!

David Liddle is one of the foremost growers of hoyas in the world. He lives in N. Queensland, Australia. He also is a very respected taxonomist; his hobby involves tracing the history of species. Personally, I consider him one of the most respected authorities on nomenclature... He is a wondeful fellow and very knowledgeable, to boot!
