I must have been naughty. I ran out to see if I got eggs, but all that was left for me was an extra large chicken pooooooo. Still no eggs for me. Not even for Christmas :(

One year Peggie, I went outside every single day and pointed to my RIR, "LAY" i told them.
"LAY". this went on for months. ONe day I happened to have my window open and I heard
from inside the coop,,about 13 scratchy cock a doo doos being tested. Yup. all 13 were
males, i had picked the babies up from the wrong barn. sigh. had to bring em all back.
she butchered them as the other roosters were killoing them.
Do you have an extra little light for them to ease the long hours? That stimulates
them to lay.
