The first bloom on my Datura opened the other day. Overnight it changed color to this pretty pink. It is still a small plant, so this bloom is almost touching the ground, the bloom itself is around 14 inches long..

That is so pretty! It is a brugmansia though not a datura. Did the nursery tag it a datura? Some of them do. It looks like an Ecuador Pink to me though I am not sure EPs are so long. You have yourself a great PIK there!
Guess I was thinking they were the same thing...what is the common name for this? Angel's Trumpet?
I have a standard form of this one - beautiful plant. Be careful to wash hands after touching, is very poisonous & has given me and some of my gardening friends some horrible rashes.
