CLOSED: Have gourd seed to trade

Belleville, IL(Zone 6b)

I don't know the name of this gourd. The picture is of a small one that did not
have time to mature this year when the frosts came. They usually dry to a tan color that can be rubbed smooth with a handle of 12 inches and a bulb of about eight inches. I used them for bird feeders and also had some blue birds make a nest and rear their young in them a few years back.
I am interested in getting some seed for other types of gourds or climbers able to grow in my zone 7a.

Hi there,
Got some gourd seeds you may like, will send you a variety sometime in January if that is okay.. just opened up a couple of gourds and will have more in the next couple of weeks after the holidays. Also, I ordered several varieties too, one called Boule (apple gourd with warts)..lol. will send you a couple of those seeds too.

Hope all is well with you..

Welcome back! I was thinking of you lately and wondering if you were back on line yet or not.
Do you want some of these seeds?

Thanks for the welcome.. was getting DG withdrawls..

Save me some of your cosmos.. also, would you like some other colors of cosmos, I picked a couple of thousand seeds (I kid you not) from a farm near here.. all colors, some white in there too. Very little orange, so I would love some of yours. Sure, save me a couple of those seeds. Finally got the cattle panels ordered for this spring for the gourds and other climbers. Don't forget, the heavier round gourds have to be grown on the ground or use some type of support slings for them if they are left to climb up. They get so heavy they will break off of the vine if they are hanging.

We got moved in and had to buy a satelite dish (no internet here), lol.. will send you a d-mail with a photo of the house.

A.
