Fixing a Pork Roast tonight...I decided on one of my favorites...S/S Red Cabbage. After shredding the cabbage, sauteeing it in a bit of oil I added some Raspberry Vinegar and thought " why not?"... reached for the strawberry jam for the sweetener. WHOA! It was wonderful. I chopped about 1/2 cup of walnuts and added at the last minute with the raisins.
Gotta pat myself on the back...it was GOOD!!!
(Guess I should add I had never used jam instead of honey and had never added walnuts)....
