Can anyone suggest a site where one can find out the basics for growing Hoya? I have a Hoya Carnosa and would like to know a little about how I should be caring for it.

I would start with Carol's site http://www.bigislandgrowers.com/ghp/AHinfo.php for some basic temperature tolerances and lighting issues, also a pdf file on hoya care http://www.teessidecacti.org/BCSS/CULTIVAT/hoya-web.pdf from the Teesside Branch of the British Cactus & Succulent Society should help get you started. Also, you might want to peruse the "stickies" at the top of the main hoya page http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/471942/ for additional links to information. Many people on this site are very happy to answer any questions you might have, so welcome and hopefully you will be as much of an addict as the rest of us!!
