Proud and disappointed

My granddaughter took her first steps last night whowah! Her left foot is not straight and the doctor doesn't want her to see the specialist until shes 16 months old and told us not to expect her to walk before she was 2 shes 111/2 months now. Shes has some respiratory problems as well and the doc is afraid that with the foot and lung problems its a sign that she has CF like her brother. She will get tested for CF next month just hoping for the best. As for disappointed my grandsons brother with the help of one of his cousins made fun of Chase because he couldn't go outside to play due to a flair up of his CF. I was mighty disappointed in that Tyler is usually a big defender of Chase with this disease, usually beating the snot out of anyone who makes fun of his brother, not that I condone his fist a cuffs about the subject, I just have never seen him side against his brother before. Something I will have to work on I just don't know how to go about it, any suggestions?
