No, I don't have a bloom. I have growth like crazy on most of the cuttings I received in the mail. And it hasn't been all that long ago!!! They are mostly growing like crazy down in my basement under lights and I know it's just a matter of time before they do bloom - maybe this coming summer?
The horribly amazing thing is - that one lonely brug that I owned before you guys shared your cuttings with me - Cherub, from Park's - STILL isn't doing anything! How can a plant just stall and still remain green and alive like it's doing? I think it looks just like it did six months ago!!!
I'm so happy with all the lush growth I've got on my cuttings, I just can't tell you. When you all said how easy they were to grow, I truly didn't believe you. Now I do.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am SO excited!
Congratulations! Isn't it exciting when cuttings take off :-) I sympathize about Cherub - I ordered one this spring and it has only grown about an inch. I had it in the ground, but dug it up and potted this fall and it seems to be doing better, so I'm hoping I just had an unfavorable location.
I toss the ones that are like that. I am always afraid they have a virus that just isn't showing itself yet.
Sounds like you have some great ones now that love you. I bet you get lots of blooms this summer esp. if the cuttings were taken from above the Y. It is so exciting!
GOOD FOR YOU!
Hello Kylee,
I share your excitement. When I cut the long gangley sections from
a few brugs not that long ago, I thought they would end up rotten,
stinky sticks I'd be tossing out soon.
Oh, but you should see them! Strings and strings of roots and new
growth! It is so easy to grow brugs from cuttings! The only thing is, it
seems very tempting to keep chopping. *giggle*

Cherub is also the one I've had problems with white flies. I have it separated from everything else, and I have sprayed it a couple of times with Orthonex. I haven't seen any flies anywhere else, and also haven't seen the white flies for awhile now, so those may be under control. However, I am THIS close to tossing the Cherub, if it weren't for the fact that it's still alive and green. LOL. I have SUCH a hard time getting rid of a live plant!!!
I was that way too.. couldn't part with anything till I say it's dead.. LOL Now I've gotten over that and even gone too far the other way! I'm really glad I can close my eyes, throw it out and Don't LOOK back.. it's always a relief.. cause there are so many eager brugs that are so much more satisfying.
Your excitement is such a thrill.. I'm so happy for you. I hope you post just as thrilling posts all about your blooms this spring/summer!
Oh, just make us feel bad!! Just kidding!
You're in Lakeland? I'll be in Lakeland the middle of January for a wedding. It's at The Music Ranch, wherever that is. I'm the matron of honor. I've been to Lakeland one other time, a couple of years ago, when my friend and I visited the Florida Southern campus there to see the Frank Lloyd Wright buildings. We're both FLW fans.
A baby bud - how great!
First one. Ever. The first is always special, isn't it? ;-)
Oh yeah! Just wait.. Your gonna be in heaven! Who does that bud belong to?
ME! :-)
An unnamed white that I got from blckwolf.
Too cool.. whites usually smell so wonderful..
