Poor Hazel has had a misadventure somewhere, leading to her having an abcess on her hip. So it's off to the vet first thing tomorrow to have it drained and to get poked with needles.
Right now she is acting kind of anxious and befuddled. I think her hip is hurting her. Also - horrors of horrors! - I've closed the pet door so she can't go outside. I want to be able to find her in the morning, and I know sometimes injured cats have a tendency to hide away.
Here's Hazel having one of her expeditions. She's always climbing on the roofs or the awnings. I wish it would get cold again, so she would keep her little kitty butt indoors for awhile.
