Heat mat recommendations

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

Can someone rec. a good heat mat? I sifted thru the FAQs, but may have missed it. Is there a garden supply website that is recommended? I have a small one, but I don't trust it on all night anymore.......Appreciate it, Sandi

Hi Sandi, Here's a good link: http://www.growerssolution.com/page/GS/CTGY/heatmats and here's another: http://www.mortonproducts.com/page.cfm/1519 There are a bunch of ones on Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/104-1032033-6173507?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=heat+mat Ebay has some too: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&from=R10&satitle=plant+heat+mat&sacat=11700%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=93010&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=

I have a different one that I got at Rosemania.com, but they don't seem to carry it any longer. It is much sturdier, and I bought two more extra large ones this year from a seller on Amazon. I'll see if I can find the name of it somewhere.

Bought mine (and my light meter) from here:

Has a real store, with a toll-free number, I do recommend this seller.

Thanks Clare and bbinnj! I'm going to research them today and get my poor plumerias out of the garage. It's 80 here this week, but I know the cold rainy stuff is coming soon. I'd like to jump start spring by potting the cuttings I have. Appreciate you responses.
