Well,I finally broke down after 2-3 hours yesterday of trying to download drivers from Kodac support webpage for my camera,gave up,left in a huff(1957 4-door"huff"...LOL)went to WalMart bought a memeory card and reader. After 45-60 minutes of fiddling with the camera,took photos.... with some very un-lady like lanuage...put them in my computer...couldn't find them...more un-lady like language.....found them...can't get them in here...cover your tender lil ears cause here comes some more un-lady like language...@#$!!*&%!!@#!!!
and their nice clear and crisp looking pix...better than I've ever taken.

Man, Bigred, I feel for you and all you've been through trying to get your camera set up and running. I too have the Kodak Easy Share system. My camera is the DX6490. I wish I could have been some help to you but I just used the CD that came with my camera and dock and just installed with no problems. I am a computer moron and need everything to work simply and easily. If I had to do all you did, there would have been expletives no end. One of these days we'll be seeing your super pics. Till then keep on keeping on ladylike or....not.

Sorry Bigred. Maybe it's the camera ? As I am on 98 windows and my camera plugs in in front I turn the camera on and they donwload.
You might have to return everything and start over with a camera that won't mind working along with Window 98 ??
