dracunculus vulgaris (black) seeds available

Rethymno, Crete, Greece(Zone 10b)

A lot of people asked for seeds, responding to our threads
http://davesgarden.com/showthread/49599.html
http://davesgarden.com/showthread/48677.html

and other threads that I and haighr started - you can search for them.

If anyone wants seeds, they are (at least from my plants, which have smaller black flowers) now available.
Please send name and address.

Greetings Dimitri,
I was not in on your original posting and I don't want to cut in front of anyone. If you finish with the others and still have seeds available, please do E me. I would be interested to hear of things you would like to grow and/or could furnish a list to you.
Thanks,
Michele

Clarksville, TN(Zone 6b)

Is it a greenhouse flower, or what zones will it survive?
I've never seen anything like it, it's a shade plant, when is it's bloom time, what's it's mature height, and is it annual or perenniel? I simply love it, is it easy to grow from seed?

(Zone 5a)

I sent you a email.
Thanks

OK all !! I 'll try to satisfy all requests !! No money please, just a trade - and if you have nothing now, keep it in mind for later. With this I hope to pay back the kindness that oozes in this place - I mean it.

Crimson, for Crete drac. is a shade plant; for haighr (check all related threads) it is out in the sun all day. It grows tubers (> perennial ) will not flower from the first year, it has the most delicately woven leaf patterns, the plant is about 1 - 1.2 meters high, the flower (only one per plant) is 30 - 40cm high, the stem has a spotted black and white (or sometimes pink and white) color, the black flower is so impressive and dramatic that the ancient Greeks considered it a symbol of death. It will not stand frost, and it will not stand sunny heat (Texas style). You will have to try and hope for the best. The seeds I collected from wild plants have not been treated in any way; I hope they will germinate - if not, I can repeat the whole story next year, nothing more.

Best wishes

Dimitri
