Northern Lights

For those of you that will have clear skies tonight, there should be an outstanding display of the lights, there was a big solar flare today. We unfortunately, will be having our 3rd storm of the week, and the strongest of the season. Once the middle of the storm passes late tonight, the winds are supposed to be 80km/h gusting >100. We've stocked up on bottled water, canned goods, batteries and candles.

For those that can, enjoy the lights. Take time exposure photos if you can, I'd like to see them. I have very fond memories of them when I was living in the NWT.

Thanks MG99. I'll have to check it out. It's been a while since I've seen Northern Lights. We had a cm of snow today from that front, but it has stopped now, but since it's dark, don't know if it's clear enough. Fingers crossed.
