hoya lambii

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

I received this plant as a cutting from David Liddle back in April of this year. It has made 2 runners so far and has growth points in at least 4 other locations so it should end up being a rather nice plant.

I love the leaves on it not only for the size and shape but how they grow to form a funnel and I cant wait to see some flowers on this baby!!!

The # 1046 that you see on the tag is the D.L. IML # for this plant.

Lovely leaves, David. They remind me of those on Rhaphidophora celatocaulis.

I'd be too tempted to call that plant bambii

Prescott, AZ

Hmmmm H. bambii, that would work. I don't think I have ever heard of this hoya, it does have very cool leaves. Looks and sounds like it has really done good for you.

Tami, finding pics on the web of H. lambii especially one in bloom is almost impossible. Ted Greens website is one of the vey few where you'll find a pic of one with open flowers on it.

We'll while sitting here cruising the net,I happened to run across this very nice picture H. lambii in bloom. I was actually looking to see if I could find a picture of H. sp, biak in bloom and found this one instead!

My lambii is still very actively growing and I cant wait to see flowers on it!

This IS NOT my picture. It belongs to Michael Miyashiro and I hope I havent violated any copyright laws by using it!!

Uh oh, I have a noid that looks, yep could be, I don't know.... Cool flower

I've got I think 3 NOIDS that I got from Dianne several months back that I hope to get positive ID's on. I can tell just by the leaves on one of them that it's in the finlaysonii group but gosh look how many are in that group!!! That might be a hard one!

Another one of them very much resembles the H. sp 93093 that Carol has. The third one just from looking at theleaves looks like it could be polystachya or macrophylla.

When and if I can get them to bloom ,i'll take some pics of teh flowers and the leaves and post them for a possible ID.
