What liquor goes with blueberries? Trifle ideas?

I made a really really faaaaaaaaaaabulous Grand Marnier Cranberry Trifle for Thanksgiving, with orange favoured custard.

I was thinking about tweaking it a little...doing blueberries and maybe lemon custard...but what liquor to replace the Grand Marnier? What goes with lemon?

Failing a good idea I might make it a Bailey's/Gingerbread/Brown sugar custard kind of thing.

What do you think?
