Does anyone know anything about Velcade?

My mom has plasmacytoma of the stomach and early stage multiple myleoma. I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone that had taken Velcade (IV chemo agent) for multiple myleoma. I would appreciate any information you would be willing to share. Ex: the results that were achieved, side effects suffered etc. If there are any oncology nurses out there I would really appreciate your input as well.
