Marine Blue

Just thought this little Marine Blue butterfly was gorgeous...but alas, the camera does not do justice to the iridescent colors on the topside.

That is a beautiful Butterfly! It's sort of like the Gulf Frit, I think the underside is prettier, but the top is pretty too.

Wonderful pictures of a real beauty.

Ah...figured it out...this is the topside of a female Marine Blue :o) Much prettier than the male's topside :o)

Yes it certainly is pretty! Hard to catch the colors at the right angles... and they don't stay still very long.. I love the pictures Cat!
