I have recently been purchasing green coffee beans online and roasting them in the oven. Talk about a big difference between store bought and home roasted! I was wondering if anyone else does this that might share some tips or experiences with me. My experience so far is limited to roasting 8 pounds, 1 pound of African and the rest South and Central American beans. Today I got another 5 pounds of Colombian Supremo and four 1/4 pound sample bags...Jamaican Blue Mountain Style, Tanzanian Peaberry, Paupa New Guinea and a House Blend. I'm new at this and always appreciate good advise from some one who's already traveled the path.
