Ugly she isn't! I don't know if this is a Dale Marten's sinningia or someone else's. It definitely has the wrong name. My first flower opened today and the pictures do not do it justice. There is more coral in the tube of the flower.
This is the one that I would like to try crossing with Texas Zebra. We could call it Ugly Zebra, Zebra Girl, or something else!

If you go back in several years in the avsa magazine I done a article for the magazine on putting seeds down. Their is many different mix to use you use the mix that in it or peat ball work also that expand with water. What i use for the most is the pro mix BX I use in the mix. What I do is use the mix straight and take a small pot and tap its the mix it its keep all the bigger pertile out of the mix.
This mix I put in the container what I use to put the seed, then i use the sucker pucker to remove more of the pertile out that is what on the top of the mix. see any bigger piece the seedling might not sprout threw its so I do a second sorting before I put that mix on the top of the mix. Right now I have seedling blooming from Sinn Country pink x Sinn Charm nothing to keep about 15 bloom. BUt i have kept two seedling from Sinn Powder puff x Sinn Charm cross. Now I have seedling growing about week old from ((Sinn scoundrel x self) x Laura) x Sinn Super Orange.
