CLOSED: HAVE: Labelle Daffodils and 5 Queen of the Night tulips

Scottsburg, IN

I would like to trade for other named hardy bulbs. Daffs, crocus, hyacinth, muscari, snowdrops, etc.

Has anyone ordered bulbs that they haven't planted that they would like to trade a few of?

I already have most, if not all, all of the varieties that are offered by the big box stores.

Would you like some dahlia tubers? I can still plant daff. and tulips here.

Daisyruffles (Carol),

I might be interested, if they are not the short patio ones.
Can you describe them? or might they have names? or might you have pics?

Are the eyes clearly visible? I once received 5 of them in on a trade, and none of them had eyes, or ever eyed up, thus they did not grow and were a total loss.

Sue,
It would be best to ship the dahlias to you in the spring. The eyes aren't noticeable now really. That is why you send when the eyes are growing in the spring.
If you want to see what dahlias I have, take a look in the Dahlia Forum. I have all types. I will have to get out my list of the ones I dug this fall. Will do that tonight.

Carol,

Great! I will check out the Dahlia Forum late PM, and will look forward to seeing your list whenever it is convenient to get it to me...no big rush.

You were interested in both the daffs and the tulips?

Yes, both of them please.

Ok, this list is long for dahlias.
Keep in mind overwintering them is a challenge.
So no guarantee on the tubers all surviving but I will have tubers for sure.
