Are a few off the top of my head. The sad thing is many of the collectors were very old and have passed away not to mention the best sources are usually hobbiest nurseries and it is sad to say but most hobbiest are always looking for cheep plants. It is very hard on the hobbiest nurseries to keep afloat They usually have two options either doing it as a low income hobby/buisness or convert over to easier and more sellable plants. Over the last few years I have seen many very nice and unique nurseries go under due to lack of funds. I have also seen some larger nurseries push back their collection areas and work more on the money making plants. This is very sad to see, many rare and hard to find plants are much harder to find these days. I know most of the sources personally and they are all barely make it by or are doing it more for their own personal satisfaction rather than profit. I love my plants but like everyone else I also like to eat.
