This is SO funny and quite amazing. Earlier today, I put all the kitty toys in a small basket that sits in a corner in the family room. I told my DH, "Let's just see how long it takes any of them to find them." A couple of hours ago, we were watching TV and Jilly walked over to the basket, tipped it towards her and spent quite some time rooting around in them, I imagine until she found one of her favorites. There are about ten items in there, so we waited to see which one she would take. Her favorites are a little terry cloth bone and a pink mouse. Sure enough, she got out the bone. What we saw next was really an amazing thing. She took it into the kitchen. She jumped up on one of the chairs, dropped the bone, then knocked it off onto the floor. She jumped off the chair, picked up the bone, jumped up on the next chair, dropped the bone, then knocked it off onto the floor. She then jumped off that chair, picked up the bone, jumped up on the next chair, dropped the bone, then knocked it off onto the floor. We wondered what she'd do when she got to the next and fourth chair, because Baby was laying on that one. No biggie. She just skipped over that one and repeated the sequence with the three unoccupied chairs. IN ORDER. We would not have believed it if we hadn't sat there and watched it.
