Colocasia Excalibur?

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

Saw this on the glasshouseworks site and thought it was interesting. Anyone else grown this? I am hesitant to order from them due to the reviews, but they have a lot on my "wants" list!

This not a true form of Colocasia but a species of Caladium. I have grown a few forms this is a form of caladium picturatum.

Thanks B,
It doesn't look too hardy, which makes sense that it is a caladmium. Have you tested it's hardiness? It is really pink or that weird, nondescript color? Sorry to ask so many questions but ya'll are more experienced than I am . I need to focus on the toughest plants for next year, I have no room to haul in tender stuff.

I would consider it tropical zone9 and up. It's not a very large grower and should be treated much like other caladiums.

A good friend brought this and a few other forms back from Trinidad years ago. All the picturatum forms are very colorful and interesting.
