Whew! Sooo relieved.

Thomson, GA

I got home last night just after dark and Miss Trouble, the kitty, greeted me in the driveway as I unloaded packages from my car. I lugged the packages up the steps to the front door, opened it and was promptly assaulted with kisses by Sammie, who had been home alone all day. I let her out and started putting stuff away, answered some phone messages and emails and got something to eat. Put out Trouble's and Sammie's food and water, and watched some TV. About 11 I fell asleep in my chair and decided I had better go to bed. I let Sammie back in and called Trouble. No Trouble anywhere. I tried to remember where I had last seen her, realized she had not touched her food, and started getting worried. I called and called, no reply. I asked Sammie "Where's Trouble" and she looked at me like I was crazy, like how am I supposed to know, mom. I called until midnite and finally went to bed, waking up every half hour thinking I heard her at the door.

This morning, I still could not find her and I knew she had to be hungry. She's such a piggy. I went to put packages in my car to take to church for the Angel Tree and there she was, sitting on the back seat of the car! She normally would not get in the car without a fight and in a carrier, so I never dreamed to look in the car! Thank goodness she's okay and none the worse for wear. She ate, drank, gave me some nose rubs to let me know I was forgiven, and promptly wanted to go back out. Guess she slept all night in the car and was ready to roam.
