hey all,
MY poor orchid cactus is suffering. Hes been looking all wilty no matter what I did, so I took him out of the pot to put in better soil (bought some orchid mix special) and THERE ARE NO ROOTS...help...what can I do?

Is it mushy where the roots are suppose to be? If so, take it out of the soil and cut off the mushy part of the strap ( leaf) until you get to the firm part of the strap/leaf. The let it dry out and callus over. When it callus over put it in soil. It may take a while for it to root, but don't give up. As long as it doesn't go to mush it will evenually root. Good luck,
