I love that, I'll have to keep an eye out for one. I was looking at my Konjak today. Do I keep it totally dry or give it a little water?

I just love that one. I have killed a few small ones of it. I am waiting to see if a few of my odd ones bought last year come back up.

I have found Knnjak is so easy, Linda. I have them in pots that get no rain all winter to a few outside in pots and in the ground getting flooded out as we speak and they all reshoot up in spring bigger and better. I just wish others were as hardy!

I wish I had a good source for bigger bulbs. I recently got so taken on eBay for a very expensive one.

Hi Kell, good to 'see' ya. I haven't been on in a while but was thinking about you yesterday when I was checking the progress of my clivia babies. My Konjak is in the gh in a dry pot. We've had some nights in the teens. Haven't had a flower on it yet but it gets a nice tree in the summer.

Last year one of my big konjacs bloomed very early in the hoophouse. Thank God I had taken off the board that let another pot sit on top of it.

A friend of mine had one come up every year for years and years. Plus loads of offspring. The flower was taller than she. She hated it and every year got her gardener to dig it up but he must have only gotten the bigger babies for the original one always came up the next year. I kept telling her I wanted it!!! She finally gave me a pot full of babies. I think they finally killed the mother. I bet she was huge.

How can someone not like these? I have a konjac with a bud coming up (hope its a flower) and I also have sauromatum venosum, amorph paeonifolius, amorph bulbifer, and i'm trying to get amorph titan.
