Very pretty! Your garden looks so nice.

So VERY lovely! I wouldn't expect such vigorous growth to be possible in your zone. Do deer not like your plantings or do you use deer repellent?

I cannot stress just how much I like your hedge. I hope to have something similar w/ hibiscuses in 2-3 years.

I remain, always envious of your beautiful gardens,

Kell, Well, thanks very much! I've admired many of your pics too.

Patp, our dog does a great job of keeping any deer or other critters away. I don't think I could garden in the country without a dog, around here at least! I would venture to say, though, that the calamint would not the first choice of the deer because I understand that they don't ususally like herbs with a strong fragrance and calamint is one of those ones that are highly aromatic when you bruise the leaves. Haven't tested that theory though!

vossner, thank you. The hibiscus hedge sounds lovely. What colour? Bet it would get a bit taller than mine though, especially in your neck of the woods!
Sandy
