I'm sure you can find these in your area and probably for cheaper. there are more good nurseries for succulents probably 20 miles from you than there are in all of southern California. But if you want to come all the way to Los Angeles, it is near the intersection of Saticoy and Tampa- 3-4 yards down Saticoy west of Tampa) in the valley (just a few blocks from where I live) and is only open to the public on weekends. I don't know the exact address.

My neighbor has 3 of these plants. I took some photos of the midnight blooms June 15th, 2013. He gave me clippings and mine has the furry white nodules coming out already. Strange how most of the photos show pink flowers and the flowers on his plants are white.

nice shots, but wrong plant... note that the rattail cactus in the photos above are cylindrical, while your cactus is more hexagonal or irregular in cross section. The species of cactus above in my photo is known for its flaming pink flowers... though much smaller than the flowers on your cactus, still quite attractive.
