Beautiful Roy, keep the pictures coming. We are in the middle of winter here it looks like.

Prescott, AZ

Very pretty Roy, nothing like the old faithful Carnosa.

Long Beach, CA

Ah yes, the one most all of us started with. Common, but no less lovely, and a very beloved hoya by all. Beautiful blooms she is making for ya. Let's see....it is spring in Australia isn't it? All mine have turned off their blooming for the winter I guess. I have nothing but ol' faithful multiflora blooming. Does that one EVER stop? I think it is because I let my house stay rather cool in winter and they all know it is dormant time ....or something. Ha.

Good news and bad news, we received our first snow of the year and my very first bloom of H. multiflora or that other name it has :) Edited to say, your pictures were all so pretty, but it sure is alot prettier up close and personal. Thanks again girly girl for the wonderful cuttings :)

I was finally able to get one of my Hoya to bloom (doing the hoya-bloom happy dance!!). This was a little 3 leaf cutting in the spring when I ordered from Rob's Violets. Is it me, or does this species have little or no fragrance?

Thanks! I purchased it as H. multiflora but I see Tami says it has another name, Can any one educate me? (p.s. pot is vintage Shawnee pottery from the 50's)

I believe that clone is correctly called H. javanica now....?

I hear that multoflora has a nice sweet scent only in the very early morning. Never caught it myself.

Not many flowers in December but I have at least ONE Hoya that blooms right now - in spite of the short and dark days here in Sweden this time of year; H. cinnamomifolia. Here she is!

Not many days left in december for blooms. This I'm pretty sure is H. pubicalyx "Pink Silver" I forgot to put the label in the basket when I planted it . Perhaps someone could confirm the I.D. please.

Thanks Roy
