ID Request - Unknown White

(Zone 8b)

I've had this white brug going on seven years but do not know the name of the variety. It was simply labeled "White Bugmansia" at the nursery from where we purchased it. Planted in the ground it reaches about 10 feet tall and about as wide.

Mary suggested in a reply to another message I posted yesterday that I post a close up view to provide a closer look at the bloom. Here are a few images. Thanks for looking.

There are so many that look alike, it would probably be very hard to make an visual ID on this one. It's a nice white suave type hybrid. I'm sure you will enjoy it with or without a name.

I agree with Brugie. It's a white suaveolens type, but I doubt you'll be able to ID it an closer than that. In fact, in cases like this, it's best to not pin a name on it just in case the ID is wrong, which could cause confusion later with trades, IDs, etc... If you love it, it doesn't need a name! ;)

Thanks for the information. It's a keeper for it's bloom power and fragrance. Got down to about 26 last night so it's leaves look like cooked spinach today. A trim is now in order. :-)
