getting ready to plant some calla bulbs...dumb question here: which side goes up?

Usually the bottom is a lot rounder than the top. The top usually has dips and where you see little circles is where the prouts are coming in.

thank you bleek, I do see the circles and thought that was how but wanted to make sure.
