Velvet Rose Today....

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

Velvet Rose is a JT Sessions brug. I believe the cross is Pink Beauty X EP. She is a wonderful brug. She flushes out like clockwork during the fall/winter. The blooms have a nice shape and wonderful color. As you can see in the picture the blooms start out pristine white and then deepen to a dark pink....she also has a great fragrance......:}

Look carefully in the lower right hand corner and you can see my EP blooms...they have been pollinated and are a little too tied up for pictures... LOL!!

Gary your Velvet Rose is a beauty. Delisa gave me one this fall and since I brought it inside it has several buds hopefully they won't fall off.

Really a pretty. There are so many great PINKS now. You could have an incredible all PINK yard if you wanted to!

Wouldn't that be great, Kell? Makes me think of my visit to Longwood Gardens in September. Much of the gardens was planted monochromatically. So many different flowers and textures all in the same color. It was GORGEOUS!
