I was at a friends place photographing his old cars that have been stored for years in a huge shed on his property and "lost" my dog .
He lifted up one of the hoods after hearing a noise underneath it ?
Thats why they are called Rat Dogs. I dont know why but thet stay on these missions for hours at a time . He wont touch ANY other animals , birds , cats , lizards , only rats and mice .
Another friend has chickens and ducklings and he just eats their food not them :-)
