Bummed

So, well, whatever Hank was doing before - pulling on feeders or fences for attention or to get to other horses or whatever - it was merely a precursor to the real thing. I went over to the stable this afternoon and he was definitely doing the "gulping" thing, too. As soon as I got home I got on line and ordered a Miracle collar - he had used one in Phoenix, but they forgot to send it with him. I hate to use it on him - it leaves big shiny hairless spots on his neck - but I know of no other way to keep him from marking up the stables fences.

Bummer. And he's outside, in a pasture, too. No reason for him to do it, other than... that's just what he does now.
