B. sanguinea seeds?

Hollywood, FL(Zone 10b)

Does anyone have any of the B. sanguinea seeds that they would be willing to share for postage? If not, I'll go ahead and purchase them half-off [thanks Rox for the reminder!] myself, and hopefully have seeds to share in the future :)

Thanks! ~Gina

Few people grow sangs, Gina. They hate the heat so most people are not very successful. They also are very virus prone. I doubt they would like Florida's heat.

Many grow where I live. And I see vulcanicolas also.

Here is one growing at the San Francisco Arboretum but sadly, theirs are virused also.

Really?! Darn it... that's so unfortunate: I always thought that the sanguinea was the most beautiful Brug that I've seen... this may be blasphemous to say on the Brugs thread, lol.

Thanks for the info, Kell! That will save me some money. :)~

Hi Kell and Gina ! Do either of you know a good source for the vulcanicola cuttings, seeds or plants ? I know that Zone 8 is prolly too warm for them but I would love to try even if it means keeping it inside of my home, lol :)

I only have one Sang alive out of the 5 that I raised from seed. They said it'd be almost impossible in my climate, and I guess they were right. If I lived closer to the ocean it'd be possible. Sigh ...

I bought my seeds on eBay, but I no longer remember who the seller was. There's always plenty available at a reasonable price.

Thanks so much :) I live within a 10 minute walk of "my" ocean, the Atlantic. Look out EBay, here I come LOL ! God bless, Margo
