My Sansevieria parva has 2 bloom stalks - one in full bloom right now.
The other night, I could have sworn there was a hoya blooming somewhere.....and had forgotten that the Sans. had a couple of bloomstalks......followed my nose and *finally* figured it out, LOL!!
It smells just heavenly - very 'jasmine-esque' - but without the pungency.
Seems to me that it is only fragrant at night.
I'll get a photo within the next couple of days - had to take videos of both kids in 2 seperate plays and my camera's memory is full right now - and I can't delete the video 'til I show family on Thanksgiving.
Another small Sans. has a bloomstalk forming now, too!
Sans parva blooming - no photo:( yet!
Lucky you! Looking forward to seeing the photos :)
How delightful, thank you! Mine hasn't bloomed for a few years. In fact, up until recently, I didn't know its' official name. Thanks for sharing... pod
Beautiful Bloom Nan. I can't wait until mine blooms some day.

My Sansevieria parva are just sending up bloom stalks now. They bloom this time every year as a result of short day length. This is one of the easiest, most rewarding and most fragrant of all houseplants I have ever grown.
