Prayers needed please!

My parents lost their collie last year at Christmas, and over the summer they got a new collie puppy...the loss of their old collie was really hard on them, but then I could see the joy in their eyes when they got the puppy. This week she started having problems throwing up and stuff, and when they took her to the vet it turns out she has all sorts of things wrong inside--a herniated diaphragm, small intestine is in her lung cavity rather than her abdomen, and she has only one kidney (apparently all stuff she was born with...I think she was the runt of the litter so that's probably why). They did surgery and she made it through that and the vet said she's doing remarkably well considering what she's been through, but this just sounds like some really major issues and I'm not sure how good her chances are long term, and it would be so devastating for my parents to lose a second dog in such a short period of time. So I wanted to ask for all of your prayers too that she makes it through OK!
