Beautiful.................. this means your balcony will be looking great. What is the size of the bloom?

Kaleem!!!!!! I was already wondering where you were! Hope everything is fine.

I would say each flower is some 2 to 2 1/2cm long. Will check it tomorrow.

Cheers,

Correction: each flower is 3.5cm long (almost 1 1/2"), measured today.

These are the flowers on the bottom of the spike (the older and larger ones) in my big hard-working-woman's hand LOL.

Thank you so much for the details and photo with your hand. These days I am too much busy in my studies and also night shift is started.

Hi,
This is not Adenophora polyantha. The flowers on A. polyantha have lobes that are only up to 1/4 as long as the entire corolla, and the flowers are slightly constricted at the throat. As well, the style is usually exerted, which is not the case on this plant. The plant shown has the characteristics of Campanula rapunculoides, not Adenophora polyantha.

Photos of the actual A. polyantha can be found at this site:
http://www.cvh.org.cn/db/data_photos/data_index.php?action=exit&sname=Adenophora&id=1

Would you please ask the admins here to remove your photos from the entry for A. polyantha?
Thank you,
altagardener
