Dear Marilynbeth, I love all your photos of your Agastche, I sense they are you favorite plants.
I am undecided between Desert Sunrise and Orange Flare to be added this year. Which one is the most showy?

Northgrass,

I think Agastache 'Desert Sunrise' is the most showy. It's very beautiful! I know you'll love it!

Yes, I love growing Agastaches alot! Love the fact they attract Hummers, smell great, have lots of flowers, long blooming and are very beautiful!

With Agastaches, I always make sure they have excellent drainage. They don't like their feet wet, esp. in Winter.

Thanks a lot for the info. Desert Sunrise is on my list of plants to order this Spring. My zone is quite a bit colder than yours but Atastche "Golden Jubilee" does fine so I expect good luck with DS.

Northgrass,

You might want to check out the offers of Lazy S's Farm Nursery for Agastaches. This is where I get alot of my Agastaches (and Salvias).

They are one of the Garden Watchdog 30 companies and I've always been happy with them.

You can look at what they had during 2007 and their 2008 online catalog comes out Jan. 1, 08.

Debby is great to work with!

Thanks Marilyn, I added this nursery to my bookmarks and also checked out the site. I found it nicely laid out and having good prices. I will have to visit it again in January for sure.
