Gloria you know you have been in my thoughts and prayers. I sure miss our weekly e-mails my Dear Friend
Thank you Kristi for making the post. Wasn't sure if she would want it done
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Oh, goodness, I didn't know about this. I just in the last two weeks began D-mailing with her, because I came across her profile and noticed she was from Lima, Ohio, which is very near me. Her last name is the same as my chemistry teacher's from high school over 30 years ago. I hadn't seen or heard anything about him since then, and just wondered if by chance she knew him. He's her SON! Small world! (It was a great class, and I ended up with a final grade of A+. I think that's the only class I ever did that in, ever.)
Gloria, I hope this isn't anything serious, but you sure have my thoughts and prayers for your recovery.
Kylee
Love you people! Thanks for the help, think it might be working.
I had a SIMPLE bottom tooth pulled a month ago, dentist hit a blood vessel with needle, caused it to swell fast and fill with blood under my tongue. Just today, got my partial back and have it in, sore, but maybe I can start eating again! Dentist said,(in hindsight), it was so easy to pull he wouldn't have had to deaden my gum. NOW he tells me! I have eaten every kind of soup, pudding, soft foods for a month, I need a BIG steak!
Thanks again, you are all like family.
Oh, Gloria, you poor thing! I can really sympathize. Not that I've had that happen, but I've seen it. I'm a dental hygienist. Glad you're feeling better!
Kylee
Gloria, The one thing I can't take in this world is a dentist - my public enemy No.1. anything else is so easy compared! so just to go in the door and sit in the chair makes you a heroine, then to actually let him touch you - no thanks not me!
It must be cold in Ohio now (haven't been there yet) so nice hot soups are fine, and healthier than fat steaks! also pasta is easy to eat. hope you get over it very soon.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Gloria, whatever your problem may it pass quickly and be replaced with blessings.
Doris
LOL Gloria! That is just what I said to Donna that you needed a big steak. All juicy! I am so glad you are starting to feel better!
Ouch!!! My mouth hurts just thinking about it.
I'm glad to see that you're on the mend.
That steak is going to taste mighty good, lol!
So happy you are finally feeling a little better
I am down to 110lbs. Think I need more than soups and soft foods. Thanks again all. I hope I can start eating and get back on my feet.
Keep me in your thoughts and prayers for awile longer please.
Gloria
you know we will
We sure will.
Absolutely.
