Mimosa Borealis October trade

Hico, TX(Zone 8a)

I am wondering how the mimosas transferred for those of you who took some home?

And the gum bumelia? and the sedges?

Can't wait til spring to see everything come up in-force

Hi Deb. The Gum Bumelia you gave me seemed to be doing okay, but then lost its leaves at the first cold snap we had a couple weeks ago. I'm not going to give up on it until the spring, though. Sometimes things we think have died or are doing poorly are simply waiting for spring to reawaken them. I will continue to watch over it, water when I think necessary, and keep my fingers crossed.

The Carolina Buckthorn appears to be doing okay. It hasn't dropped any leaves as yet.

Hello Deb, I planted the Mimosa, and the Bumelia, they are both dormant now, so we will not know if they made it till Spring.
The Sedges are fine, but I haven't given them a home yet, I am rearranging things to make room for them.
Thank you for bringing the plants for us.
I hope the plants you got from us are doing well too.
Nice to hear from you.
Josephine.

My Bumelia also lost all it's leaves pretty quick. I am going to leave it until the spring and see if it flushes back out.

Nice to hear from you. I hope your house is moving along on schedule.

Hi!! I totally did not see this, the mimosa - no leaves but the branches are still green and sooo that is good (*skin bark test). The sedges are doing ok but should take off in the spring so will wait until then.

So how are you doing out there?

Mitch
