here is what it looks like in June full and filled in!
June -to the end!
lovely nm,
I'm as green as your gardens (envy)
LOVE looking at all your pics! I don't think I would want your winters tho :(
WOW!!!
You know, the scariest thing my mother-in-law ever said to me was when we were visiting during our engagement... she'd had the TV on while we puttered around together in the kitchen, and she turned and said (in her wonderful southern accent), "Maatha Stewart is mah ihdol." yikes!
Dori, you are NOT Martha... but boy oh boy oh boy... YOU are MY idol!!! I could wander in your garden all day, every day!
Thanks for sharing your June garden with us. I'll be coming back to this winter to enjoy these pictures again & again, both as inspiration and as a good antidote to a grey day. It's raining again today, so this thread was wonderfully well timed!
:-)
You took the words out of my mouth critterologist. I'd so much rather visit Dori's garden than Martha's. Everything about this garden delights me! I bet your grandkids love running down the paths and hiding behind the tall plants. The fox tail lilies are outstanding and so are the mixed knautia. Can't wait for the fall photos.

sooooonotMartha. and I couldn't be more delighted. I was especially pleased to see the knautia. it's a plant I wasn't familiar with until I joined DG. I think it's a perfect addition to the cottage garden and I almost forgot I intended to include it. Dori, thanks for the wonderful June tour and the reminder with the lovely knautia. can't wait for July and August.

Dori if your having a roundup this year.........I'll sure be there.....to walk thru your beautiful gardens..!!
Gotta see more of your white Michigan Wonderland gardens...Hope not till Christmas..only time I love it..
Dori, Ok I need to ask this..... WHERE ARE THE WEEDS?
What is your secret?
And everything is standing so stright and tall and without any support that I can see.
Just beautiful! All that is missing from the pictures are the smell of the flowers and the songs of the birds.
Chris
Just Beautiful. That's all I can say. : )
Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!
Please tell us how you weed and maitain it. It is so vast! And gorgeous!
I truly cannot come up with any adjectives that would do your gardens justice, notmartha, I am just admiring you and your flowers without any words whatsoever.
No, you're not Martha. You've got Martha beaten by a mile !!!
Thank you so much for posting these photographs. What an
inspiration to see them - how refreshing for the soul. You don't
have a green thumb, you've got 2 green arms. Glorious and
wonderful.
