I've had all the birds stopping by today so I took some pics when I had time. It seems they all like the pond and the watering can. Can wait to see what birds show up next.
Everybirdie loves it!
I love that picture!! It put me in a even better mood than before which was high anyways cause Emmitt Smith won the dance. Yeah!! The birds look cute in that picture.
This one is even better than the last one!!
I didn't think I had gotten that shot until after I downloaded the pics...surprised me! Did you notice the bird in the back flying by, it looks like he has no wings?
Really neat system you created with the watering can. Running water is a critter magnet.
Now if I could just get the owls, wouldn't that be something ?
What do you have living in that nice big wood pile I spotted in your photo?
Lizards & a great big black bubble bee , and of course I'm sure some black widows somewhere. Who know what else.
I like watching lizards lounging when I am on vacation in nice warm areas. Lizards are way cool. Black Widows don't so much bother me now that I know more about them and Bumble Bees certainly don't bother me but... I think I have a problem with scorpions. I may be wrong here but I don't particularly think I'd want any of them in my wood pile.
Yes, might be but usually they stay out in the field in the sand. In the summer time when they come out I don't go out at night without tennis shoes for that reason. Iam more afraid of the rattlers, come to think of it there might be one of those in there.
The snakes go thru here to get to the river. The lizards are cute, lots of them in the wood pile. I'm trying something new with the hummingbird feeder, it is hanging over the pond with water splashing on it. I'm waiting to see if the bees will stay away from it now.
Ohhhh....... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Good job!
Now that's what a wood pile is for! Do you have an ID on that little pretty? Is your lizard some sort of a sagebrush lizard?
Don't have a clue what kind it is....just a lizard that was sitting there doing push-ups until I got closer. Must be mom or dad...lots of babies in there.
Welllllllllllll, go out unto the big www and try to identify your little pretty ;)
Orrrrrrrrrr, post more photos and let everyone have some fun playing "name the leeezard".
From what I could tell from pics it is a sagebrush lizard, but not sure of that. Now, on to the owl...I want a picture of him for sure!
A sagebrush leeezard he is then! What fun. I love leeezards.
another visit from the finches today.
