Doris, you need to move ASAP! LOL
I'm with Doris on this one. Cold, windy, rainy, high of 46 today. And they are talking about snow tomorrow night and Sunday night. Highs in the upper 40's.
Definite zone envy!!!
I am so jealous:)
On Vancouver Island we have had wind and rain storms off and on for some time now. They call it the pineapple express as the winds are coming all the way from Hawaii. The winds have been 75 to 100 km/hr it is a good thing they are at least warmer winds. The northern winds chill me to the bone. Vancouver (big city) and Nanaimo here on the Island has to boil their water as the resevors are all churned up and muddy.
Temp wise it has been 50 to 55 days and 45 at night.
We rarely get any of that white stuff and if we do it is some thing that happens in Jan. We won't this year ofcourse because I left all my gingers outside this year:) The brugs are all tucked away in the garage except the cuttings that I started in the house.
Bea

Have you started building your ark yet ... or at least a row boat big enough for you, pets, and a favorite Brug? If only you would share that rain, I'd be a happy camper and wouldn't need the garden hose so much. Anyway, where have you been, Kin? I noticed you weren't posting for a bit. Glad you're back!
LOL Mary....
Well.... Let's see...
I've been building an Ark in between cleaning up leaves which show up in piles every few days between the wind storms and cleaning out gutters and getting stuck in the mud and cleaning up broken tree limbs and on and on....LOL it's been a real mess of weather here lately.
I know I have been very scares here lately. I just gave this forum a break for awhile and caught up on other things that had to be done. I get so sidetracked here and forget the task on hand!!
I would gladly send you some rain. I know you already have the wind!
;)
Here in the San Fran. Bay area but inland, we are around 67 during the day and the mid to high 40' at night. I am just thrilled with this weather since the last two Nov. we have had frost by this time. Even so, my most prized babies are tucked away in the greenhouse.
Kin, sounds like you've been having as much fun as we have. Wind, rain and leaves.
The ground was all white here this morning. Not from snow, just heavy frost. We are supposed to get up to about 60 on Wed. Thanks for sending your weather our way, Mary. Just wishing it would last longer.
87 degrees here in Poway!
Sure Mary, rub it in. LOL
Oh Patricia, I should have read your post yesterday. I knew we had frost early last year, but not this early. I need to get moving and finish getting my plants in their winter places. I am still trying to pollinate and I just know none will take this late date so I have no clue why I bother.
Kin, the story my life is being sidetracked. LOL> But true. I hope your weather is better now!
